2nd call for abstracts for additional sessions is opened

We opened the additional call for abstracts for talk, poster, and panels until September 12th.

We also updated the new symposium information on “Game, Education, and Health Care”.

DiGRA2007 in the press

Mr. Kiyoshi Shin, a member of DiGRA2007 conference committee, wrote an article on the game related events including DiGRA2007 in this autumn.

“Fall of this year, many game events appear: Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry joined and the actual field confused?”

The article is in Japanese and you may be use Japanese-English translation service in Google or Altavista. Raph Koster and other guest speakers at the co-located events are introduced.

Advance program: Minor update

Advance program has some minor updates.

Some authors’ information is updated and three presenations are canceled.

Final program will be announced at the end of August.

Toward the advance program

Toward the advance program, we have been working for 24 hours. The advance program is almost completed, but waiting for some confirmations from the chair and panelists. It will be announced on 3rd August in our plan.
The notification of acceptance for the additional sessions is finished. It is surprising that there are a few application for student mentoring roundtable. It may be reflected that the traditional academics began to support mentoring the students who are interested in digital games.

Confirmation about the copyright permission of screenshots is ongoing. Sorry but there is no “fair use” term in Japanese copyright law!
